ALL versions prior to 2.1.1, including 2.1.0 will need to have the database upgraded from Access 97 to Access 2000 format.

To find your database, look at the status bar, as shown in the diagram below. The database is found at the location shown on the status bar as in the following diagram. In this case the database (always fasset.mdb) is found in the directory H:\jcs\FixedAsset. The location of your database will similarly be shown on your status bar. If you have more than one database, each will need to be upgraded.

EITHER: have Mindbow upgrade your database:
Use winzip to compress your database, (if over 1Mb), and e-mail to support@mindbow.com.
We will convert and return within 24 hours or receipt. No charge to those with current maintenance programs.

OR: (if you have Access 2000 or later) -
Make sure your backups are done!
step 1: use Windows Explorer to rename the database to fasset97.mdb.
step 2: use Access to convert the database as shown in the next diagram. (from Office XP Access)
(Access from Office 2000 will just have convert "to current access database version")
step 3: select the fasset97.mdb as the database to convert from,
and save the converted database as fasset.mdb in the same directory.
